School of Disciple Makers
At New Life, we believe that “EVERY BELIEVER IS A LEADER", because God has made every believer to become a disciple maker. You can’t be a disciple maker unless you are a leader. A leader is one who has influence. Disciple makers influence others to become disciples of Jesus.
The New Life Outreach International School of Disciple Makers is designed to assist you in developing in you the character of a leader, so you may become more effective in fulfilling God’s purpose in your life. The School of Disciple Makers operates in a three 10 week cycle. Classes focus on doctrine, while seminars focus on life issues. At New Life we understand that Leadership seldom happens by accident. It must come by design, preparation and assimilation. Jesus spent three years training the disciples to become disciple makers. We find Paul winning “about twelve men” and reason with them and others daily “in the school of Tyrannus” (Acts 19:9). Two years later, we find that Asia Minor was under a tremendous move of God and multiplication of souls.
Is this a Bible Institute?
It is “on the job training” approach to learning leadership. The lessons are designed to be simple. There are no complicated theological terms or concepts. The School of Disciple Makers is shorter than a Bible Institute, but “deep” enough to prepare you to do the work of the ministry. Instead of spending three years or so in training, the School of Disciple Makers allows you to experience leadership while studying. There is an emphasis in not just learning, but doing ministry.
