Through exciting games, worship, interactive lessons, activities, prizes, and unforgettable moments, kids will grow in their faith while making amazing summer memories and new friendships.

Nope! We provide both lunch and snacks for all children attending. Please be sure to indicate any allergies at registration.

Of course! Please let us know anything we should know and how we can best support your child when filling out the registration form.
We also provide NLK Buddies to support children who may need one-on-one care during the event. Our facilities are equipped with quiet corners, sensory items and optional headsets if needed to help support and ensure every child can experience Summer Blast in their own way.
Summer Blast Schedule
9:30 Check Begins: Children will be greeting by our check in team at arrival. They will be welcomed into group games and or activities as we wait for all our friends to arrive.
10:00 Welcome & Core Values: We kick off with something familiar to our kids. We re iterate our core values to set the tone. (Love God: We love God because he first loves us!. Love People: We love people because God loves all people! Do Your Best: We do our best and let God do the rest., Have Fun!: God gives us joy!)
Worship: We engage children in fun celebratory songs to God as well as devotional heart felt songs that allow them to speak to the Lord from their hears with guided lyrics, hand gestures and sometimes dance!
Teaching: Big Group Lesson with a Main Idea
Small Group: We divide the kids up into groups by age and ask questions and reiterate our main idea in a way that their specific age group can understand and apply.
11:00- Lunch: We provide pizza, fruit, water and juice boxes for all children, if you have specific dietary restrictions please make us aware at registration and we can ensure there is an alternative for your child.
11:30- Session #2 Worship Set
Recap of Teaching: Recapping after teaching two main points helps reinforce learning, improve memory retention, and give kids time to process information before moving forward.
Altar Call/Prayer : We believe children can experience the power of God and the presence of the Holy Spirit in a real and powerful way. Children have big emotions and need the guidance of the Holy Spirit in their lives. We pray over their worries, needs, and concerns, and we encourage them to allow the Holy Spirit to be their comforter, advocate, and strength. Because just like adults, kids have hard days too.
Outdoor Party: We close the street and have so much fun! We put out 2 bounce houses, water and sensory tables, water balloons, street soccer and so much more.
Large Group Games: We believe in community and friendship because we are better together. Fostering friendships among children and helping them build community with other children who love God reminds them that they are not alone in their journey of faith. Large group activities create opportunities for teamwork, connection, and love to grow.
